The Wedding
Todd and Corinne got married on Saturday, June 28 at St. Albert’s in Reno (off of King’s Row). It was a traditional Catholic wedding, and everything went very smoothly. From there, we moved to the reception at Boomtown. Everything was decorated very nicely, and again, the reception was done beautifully. Steph and I sat at a table with a bunch of other “SigEp Couples” – Rob and Amanda, Chris (McQuattie) and Jenna, and Chris (Strader) and Shanea. There were a lot of other SigEps at the wedding, and we all had a lot of fun.
Marcus Liem (co-best man with Mario Fialdini) gave a wonderful speech, and cried as we had expected. Although, he really choked it back pretty well, and didn’t go into the waterworks very much. As we also expected, the dance floor got pretty interesting as the night went on. Really a great event all together.
The Bachelor Party
We cruised to Oakland aboard the “booze bus” to catch an Athletics game (Todd’s favorite team). There were 21 guys who left Saturday morning (June 21). Besides vodka cranberry and Coors Light, the agenda included a few hours of tailgating before the game, complete with games like ladder golf, cornhole and even beer pong (although that was too windy to play – the ball kept blowing away). After tailgating, we enjoyed a beer-tasting event, and then hit the game. Best man, Marcus Liem, arranged the entire day, and we watched the game from a private suite. Oh, and it was sweet alright! The A’s had a lead for most of the game, but ultimately ended up losing. Doh! Oh well, it was still a blast and we had about 16 hours of fun!!! The bus ride back was pretty quiet, as most of the guys were “sleeping.”

Wish I could have been there. But I was attending to a life event of my own (my daughter’s birth).
Hope everyone had a good time.
