Our nephews, Riley and Byren (Corey and Valerie’s boys), celebrated a joint birthday party on Sunday, June 22. Riley’s birthday is actually June 13, and Byren’s is June 29.
We headed over to Corey and Valerie’s house, and were greeted by an enormous inflatable water slide. This thing was incredible – it was easily 15 feet tall, complete with a slide, pool, water cannons, etc. Not to worry, there were about 20 kids jumping all over that thing. There was also a healthy supply of water guns and water balloons. Yup, a giant water fight broke out, among children and adults.
Then came cake and presents. We got Riley a baseball and bat, as well as a genuine leather baseball mitt. We got Byren “Baby Jamz” which is like a boombox that has rapping nursery rhymes. Fun day!
