London Comes to Work with Me

When it snows heavily, London’s daycare follows the school delay system of Washoe County. So, a couple of days this week, London’s daycare didn’t open until 9:00 and he spent an hour in the office with me. I think he’s getting comfortable in this setting.

London’s First Birthday – presents

Wow – it’s already been a month since London’s first birthday. Sorry for the delay – who knows where the time goes? Thank you to everyone that was able to attend London’s birthday party at Rancho San Rafael park. As luck would have it, warm and sunny days gave way to a cool and windy day for London’s birthday party. As a result, we cut short some of the party and London didn’t end up opening presents until we got home. But fear not, because we recorded London’s reactions as he opened his presents. Well, he didn’t really have reactions to much more than the wrapping paper and he didn’t really open them (Steph pretty much did it all).

London’s 1st birthday

We can’t believe it but a year has gone by and our baby boy had his first birthday. We decided to do a sports theme and rented out a pavilion at Rancho San Rafael park. Mike and London wore matching Tony Romo jerseys. The weather decided to turn to fall for the day so London ended up sporting the SF giants jacket instead. (which papa Dom was proud to show off since he wore a Giants tie) despite the weather we had a great day.

Of course we have pictures of London enjoying his cake. Thanks Grandma Dee Dee for making the cake!!

Dog Calendar 2010

Back by popular demand… the dog calendar. In case you missed it, last year I made a calendar featuring our two favorite pups – Romeo and Libby (click here if you want to see it). Well, I decided to feature Romeo and Libby again in the 2010 calendar, but decided to theme the calendar with movies from my youth. I wasn’t going to post it, but I have had some people request that I add it. So here you go.

Selling the Farm

It’s with sad hearts that we make the decision to sell our home. We weren’t immune to the tough economy and find ourselves in the situation of doing a short sale. We didn’t make this decision without research and exploring our options – and this is our smartest move. If you want more info, please give Steph or I a phone call. But, wish us good luck in selling the house and having the lender agree to the sale.
